I'm Perla! I'm 22, and I have been working with kids for 5 years! I worked at a mobile petting zoo, was a Dental Assistant for 2 years, and currently am working at a Settlement Home for Children! I've always enjoyed being around kids and I'm greatful I was able to move onto something that seems for me! I'm a mom to a 1 month old little boy! I'm currently on maternity leave and still juggling around if I will return to work, or take on babysitting/nannying for those who will allow me to bring my little boy when and if needed, as it's only us 2 and leaving him with family could be challenging at times. I have 3 Children's of my own my son is 15 yrs, and my 2 daughters that are 13 yrs old and 5 year old . I am very energetic, caring, outgoing, responsible and very alert and attentive with kids. I have my child development degree and I’m a certified Medical Assistant. Some duties that I had were picking up kids from school homework if provided after school activities (sports after school programs clubs and etc) make meals at times. I was asked to stay over night making sure that the kids were fed, bathe and tucked in bed light housekeeping but normally cleaning comes naturally. I just have a habit of keeping everything in place.

I am a very positive person who prides herself on being incredibly punctual, patient, and kind. I've both nannied and babysat for many children over the last seven years, and I always enjoy helping them grow up before my eyes. I can truthfully say I’ve always loved the children placed under my care. I am CPR certified and a nonsmoker. I also have taken some culinary arts classes and am an excellent cook if meal preparation is required. Watching little ones meet milestones and getting to know older children's interests is a real joy in my life. I graduated from Texas State and plan to return to get my masters in library science in order to become a school librarian if nannying stops being a thrill and joy (hasn’t happened yet, haha!).
