Hello! My name is Kristina Viro, I am a junior in college at Texas A&M University, and I live in Boerne, TX. I am twenty two years of age and I have worked as a nanny and babysitter for the past seven years to care for children between infants to middle school age. Recently I worked as a mother's helper for a family and my responsibilities included infant care, cleaning, and running errands. My experience also includes working as a nanny for a family with two children with special needs, and during that time I had the opportunity to make a lasting impact on their lives and encourage them to grow. I prepared food and snacks to meet their specific dietary needs, took the kids on outings to the library to pick out books, to the pool, and to the park, helped them and encouraged them through reading and writing Read more practice, and engaged with them by teaching them songs and games. Before I was a nanny for this family, I babysat for them for a few years prior since their young son was an infant and their older daughter was three. I also frequently babysat for a family with three sons between the ages of 2 and 10. I enjoyed the challenges of finding ways to interact with various age groups and bring the siblings closer together. The summers prior to my freshman and sophomore year of highschool, I was a nanny for a family with two daughters in elementary and middle school, and I had the opportunity to play outside with them, learn about the things they were learning and the activities they were involved in, keep them company while they completed their chores, and encouraged them with their schoolwork when needed. I also enjoy caring for babies and have lots of experience changing diapers, keeping them entertained, giving them food and medicine when instructed, and comforting when they are crying to help them fall asleep. I love kids and believe that the tools and values I’ve acquired through years of experience as a babysitter and nanny would make me a good fit to serve your family and support your children.
