I have always had a passion & love for kids. I started volunteering at my church's nursery when I was 13 years old. I worked with the infants all the way up to the 5-year-olds. From then I got a part-time job babysitting for a family with two babies, 4 months and 6 months old. My duties included changing diapers, feeding, bedtime, and simply giving them love. My sophomore year in college I got a part-time job working at an after school program called Alphabest. The program consisted of kindergarten to 5th grade. I was responsible for 1st-2nd grade, and up to 25 total children. Duties/activities included, preparing snack, recess time, homework time, and cleaning at the end of the day.
