I've worked at an after school program for the last two years, taking care of elementary school kids. The main age group I worked with was made up of kindergarten and first grade students, however during the school year I gave homework help to all of the age groups who needed it. I'm also CPR certified. Apart from work, I have many younger cousins and family members that I have taken care of over the years. I've also taken a Child Development course in college so I have some knowledge of milestones and good interactive activities to do with the different ages. I've wanted to be a teacher since I was a young girl. I remember always playing school with my sister and our cousins, and wanting to help make a difference in my community.
