Howdy! My name is Kayla. I am a sophomore majoring in education at Texas A&M University, specializing in literature, language, and history for middle grades. I have always had a passion for child care and have had the privilege of gaining a lot of experience throughout the years. I have been consistently babysitting for families of 1-4 children for the past seven years. I have also spent time working in childcare at church and vacation bible school for ages ranging from 4 months to 12 years old. I spend my summers working as an overnight camp counselor at the Pine Cove Shores for High school girls ages 14-17. I spent this past semester tutoring a first-grade boy in writing and reading, and had the privilege of observing a fifth-grade ELA classroom. I love connecting with kiddos and helping them learn and grow in their confidence, personalities, dedication, and passions. I Read more enjoy school and was involved in many extracurriculars in high school, such as dance, cheer, student council, and theater, so I would love an opportunity to help encourage your child in whatever they are passionate about!
