Hi there! My name is Avery Gainer, and I am 20 years old. I am the oldest of 6 children, and my youngest brother has severe autism and is also non-verbal. Throughout middle and high school I dedicated a lot of my time to the Best Buddies organization, volunteering in elementary schools, and student coaching at my cheerleading gym. After graduating high school I began working in the ABA therapy field as a behavioral therapist for children with autism and other related disabilities. Most recently, I spent the last 2 years working in a small private school with children ages K-12. Outside of my full time jobs, I am a competitive cheerleading coach. I coach a team of 6-11 year old girls, and a coed special needs team for all ages. Currently I am nannying part time and am looking for extra work outside of those hours. I have 6+ Read more years of babysitting and nannying experience and have worked with children of many different ages and abilities. I am also CPR/AED certified. I am extremely outgoing, and love a fun adventure! I love Jesus, spending time with my family and friends, traveling, designing, and shopping. One of my biggest passions in life is working with children, and I hope my time with them is such a reminder of how worthy, loved and valued they are!
