I started off getting paid to babysit my brother and sister who are now 6, and 19. Both my parents worked and found daycare too expensive, I did not have a job at the time so babysitting became a way to make extra money. However it became something that I enjoyed. I then began to baby sit members of the church children and was an in home nanny for the summer. I think the most rewarding part about caring for children is fostering relationships with them and their families. I really cherish the moments where I can help families support a child's growth and become an integral part of their development.
