Im from a large family of seven siblings, and 14 nieces and nephews. So I've had the wonderful experience of caring for children from infancy on up!! In high school I began to tutor other children as I discovered my passion to teach and help others. Since high school, I've worked in health and human services. I worked as a recreational therapist technician at a state hospital, providing safety and recreational programs (sports, music, arts and crafts, pet therapy , and more). I've also worked as a substitute teacher for all grades and subjects, and with special needs children. I've worked in adult group homes, cooking meals, giving medication, cleaning, transporting residents. And most recently I've worked in a nursing home in both direct care and also the laundry department.
