Greetings! My name is Meagan. I am 22 years old. I currently live in East Texas. I have 5+ years experience as a babysitter and 2 months experience as a live in nanny (helping baby get back on healthy schedule). I've been blessed to work for many beautiful families over the years and I am grateful to still have life long connections with them. I absolutely love being with children. They are the light of my world! So much so, that I am in the process of furthering my education and services as being a dula/midwife. I am very loving and gentle, giving my full awareness to the children I watch. I encourage creativity, being outdoors, and most of all, play and laughter! I enjoy getting to know each child's unique personality and supporting their growth, education, and health in the way that fits best for you. I do have experience caring for children that has autism, high-level adhd, speech disorder, and down syndrome. I've always been active and volunteering in the special needs community due to a family member having a special need of their own! I love... • Providing arts and crafts. • Putting on a fun talent show. • Supporting and playing sports that the children are interested in. • Taking a hike or walk in the park/ neighborhood. • Having a picnic. • Playing board-games. • Doing light excercises, as in, trampoline, stretching, yoga, etc. • Reading. • Helping with homework to encourage learning. • AND most of all connecting with each child to support thier own unique personality and what they genuinely love to do for fun! One of my FAVORITE nanny moments would have to be.. when I traveled back to my hometown to visit a dear family I worked for (I was with them for almost all my high-school degree). When I left, to move away, the littlest boy wasn't quite speaking yet. When I arrived for the visit, a year later, he greeted me by saying.. "Hi Miss Meagan. How are you. We've missed you!".
