Hello, my name is Mariela and I’m currently attending college to become a social worker. Since I could remember, I have always had a passion for helping kids and making a difference in anybody’s life I cross paths with. I have volunteer experience tutoring kids from when I was attending high school. I also volunteered at my nearby library to help the summer reading program with activities to help entertain children and expand their educational abilities. I have never had paid child care experience although taking care of my 6 nieces and nephews at different chapters of their lives was a job itself. I have great time management skills and can adapt to different situations quickly. I’m extremely energetic and have a lot of enthusiasm and ideas for activities that can create a fun, safe environment for children.
