Hello, a little about me, I moved to Texas from California a little over 5 years ago. I have worked with Alphabest, which is an after school program, for almost a year now and have worked primarily with elementary students aged 5-11. Through the company, I have been CPR certified for the second time now and have attended many trainings such as, ADHD courses and Love & Logic. As a zone leader for the company I was responsible for up to 27 children at a time and taught a fitness curriculum to engage them in being active. In addition, I have created a summer school curriculum for English, Spanish, and Math for a 2nd grader and worked part time during the summer of 2017. I also have experience as a full time nanny caring for three children aged 5, 9, and 11. My responsibilities included pick ups and drop offs Read more from school and recreational activities, light housekeeping, light meal preparation, bathing and grooming, and scheduling summer activities. But foremost I have a soft spot for children. I am a missionary who travels at each opportunity to third world countries to aide and teach children. I have been to Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Israel and hope to add to the list this year! Personally, my style with children is built around fun as I love the outdoors and board games and even sitting and watching kids shows and arts and crafts and science projects, but I also uphold how I myself was raised in a respectful manner. And do not mind giving a lecture when one is needed! And yes, I absolutely LOVE dogs! Overall, I am hoping to join a family full time and to commit my skills and assets to that family. Thank you!
