My name is Sarah Orr and I am a sophomore at Dallas Baptist University. I have been babysitting for various families for about six years now. I love baking with the children and taking them to the park and taking them swimming. I think it is so important to be on the floor playing with them and interacting on their level. Children have always had a special place in my heart, and I am studying to be an elementary special education teacher. My heart is really for individuals with special needs. I have babysat for two families with daughters with special needs. One family had a daughter with Down syndrome, and the other had a daughter with GDD. I also have experience with individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, and ID. My biggest aspiration in life is to own a Christ centered home for individuals with special needs. Over the summer Read more I worked at Camp Blessing Texas which is for children and young adults with special needs and it was the biggest joy and honor to love them and show them their worth in Christ. That is always my goal when I am babysitting. whether it is for a child with special needs or not, to share Christ's love with them.
