Hi there. My name is Nikki and I live in Dallas, Tx. I am 32 years old and, have many years experience in being a nanny. I have a 5 year old daughter that goes to daycare fulltime so I would not need to bring her with me. As far as house keeping goes, I actually prefer it because I like to keep busy and organized. If the child is occupied or sleeping, I am most likely doing stuff around the house. In previous positions I did laundry, dishes, picked up around the house, light cooking, and ran errands. Most importantly of all, I love kids and I am very good at what I do. I have a lot of patience and understanding. This is something I have been doing for a while now and, I do not plan on stopping any time soon. I really enjoy doing arts and crafts and getting the Read more kids out of the house on a nice day. Nikki has been a Nanny for our kid for about 2-3 weeks. She starts work at 9am at our house, she came in at 9.00am and took her weekly payment .She said she had to sign her rental lease and will be back in few minutes and we understood her situation and let her go. And, she NEVER returned, no call, no messages and no response to any of our calls/msgs. That was so sudden and abrupt, of course well planned on her part I guess. Of the two weeks she'd been with us, she was late over 4 times, we let it go, since we all have emergencies. She would tell us she'd be late but never give us a timeframe. But since we need one desperately, we kind overlooked. She was friendly so we decided to ignore all the other issues (she'd do what you tell her to, but you gotta keep telling her every single thing), but at the end, it was a rude ending. Now, we are left without a nanny and gotta start our hunt again but the worse part is my kid will have to go through this transition all over again. Back tracking, we feel that all those days when she was late, she might have been attending some interviews, she simply didn't care about giving a notice period so just quit once she got her money.
