Hi there! My name is Ava and I am passionate about working with kids and have been nannying since before I could drive. I started working for the families in my neighborhood and continued to babysit throughout college. I have also had several internships focused around childcare. Two of my internships were abroad, in Costa Rica and Honduras. While there, I worked in orphanages, taught basic math, and helped in daycare. I also spearheaded the first ever Children’s day camp for the families staying in the Ronald McDonald house of Dallas. The grant was given by Exxon Mobil, and at the end of my time I won the Exxon Mobil intern of the year due to my attention to detail, organization, and passion to help kids.
