Hi Families! Nice to virtually meet you all. My name is Mervelline Aflata and I am a 28 year old experienced baby-sitter. I am the oldest of 5 children with my siblings being 10+ years younger than I am so I’ve been a proxy mom for the last 10 years. I am a Bachelors and Masters degree holder in Business with a passion for caring for children and helping families. I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and working remotely as a Program Manager. I’ve been a baby-sitter since 2018 and in my experience, I’ve worked with over 20 families and became the preferred babysitter for 3 families. I’ve helped care for children in a variety of ages - from as young as 6 months old to teenagers. I’m well versed in managing all levels of child care from wake ups, feeding, playtime, bathing, bedtime, homework help, car pooling, and everything in between. Once I started my masters degree in 2021, I took a break from babysitting to complete my studies and make a move to Dallas, TX.
