Meet Haley

Hello! Helping children grow has always been a passion mine! Helping them achieve goals that build them to be better little human beings is rewarding. Since I was a teenager I would babysit for family and family friends. Through out high school I helped with the elementary classes at my school, although I mainly helped with PreK-3 through 1st grade. I volunteered at a few after school events for the after school program at my school and am currently pursuing a degree in Human Development and Family Science at Texas State University. Along with this, I’ve been given the opportunity to take a Principles of Guidance class which focuses on the importance of modeling behavior for children and promoting positive guidance. This class has also allowed me to complete observation at the TXST Child Development Center which has helped in giving me more experience working with 3-4 year olds. I Read more am patient and attentive to children, and with my combined experience and constant knowledge being learned in my classes, I try to make the safest environment for children to express themselves freely.
