I have had experience caring for children for as long as I can remember. I'm the oldest of three, and the oldest of eight cousins. I've had a part in taking care of my brother and sister, and each of my cousins ever since they were born. Their ages range from 8 to 21. I've had numerous babysitting jobs ever since I was 13. I've had several jobs as a nanny where I did light cleaning and laundry, drove the kids around to various activities, and assisted them in homework. I am CPR certified. I worked at an after school program, monitoring 27 kids on average from 2:30 to 6:30. I had 11 children in my group of kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. I oversaw snack time, recess, homework help, and curriculum (fitness, art, drama, Math). I worked as a teacher in the 4-year-old classroom at a daycare. I Read more oversaw nap time, administered snack, arts and crafts time, playground time and centers. I had 10 children in my class. I'm working on a dual major in Home Furnishings and Fashion Merchandising, and a minor in Business. I've interned at a children's clothing company where I had the opportunity to fit and style the children in photo shoots for their Fall/Winter catalog. I also sell commissioned portraits of children as a side job.
