I currently work as a lead preschool teacher at a local Montessori Academy. I am working on my Interdisciplinary studies degree at UNT and plan on joining the peace corps after I graduate in a few years. I am passionate about girls education and want to make a difference in the world, one child at a time! I feel strongly that children should be taught through experience and nothing beats an awe inspiring field trip. I am currently teaching my students the anatomical names for bones and working nonstop with pastels to capture spring on anything we can get our hands on. I have more than 48 hours of state mandated training including: CPR, Field trip Safety, SIDS, ect for this year. I have also completed student teaching in preschool, first grade and second grade classrooms.
