Hello, my name is Dejanee " Deja" for short. I moved to Houston with my family in 2005 from Richmond California. Attending Langham Creek High School where I was introduced to teaching through the Ready Set Teach program. From there I attended Lone Star College graduating with an Associates in teaching EC to 6th grade. Currently, I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Houston. Outside of academic studies I enjoy reading, art, and Natural Sciences like geography and geology. I enjoy sharing my interests with the children in my care but most of all I love getting to know them and their interests.
