*references are provided upon request Hi! First let me thank you for taking the time to consider me to help care for your children. I have a year and six months professional childcare experience and have been trained in CPR and First aid while also attending childcare workshops. I'm not longer working in daycare because of medical, familial, and educational reasons. It broke my heart to leave the wonderful children at my centers, but I know there will be more opportunities to positively impact children's lives. Currently, I am working as a part time photographer retail associate and providing occasional child care for my 4 year old Goddaughter, Dawn. I also volunteer with my church's Sunday school as needed and am part of a mission project called Simply Love where I provide foster and adoptive families with childcare as needed. In my experience as her babysitter, as well as a Read more daycare/Sunday school teacher I have developed the ability to communicate and create trusting relationships with children ages 18 months to 12 years of age. I have enrolled in community college courses to work towards my goal of becoming a social worker and then ultimately an adolescent therapist with emphasis on mood disorders. I very much enjoyed working with my preschoolers and adore caring for my goddaughter. I would like to build my experience in childcare and be able to provide more one on one care for families. Another note, I am conversationally fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
