Hello, my name is Ashley and I recently left my job to go back to school. I'm looking to make better use of my time as the number of classes I can take during the summer is limited. I am the eldest child in my family with a large age gap between my younger siblings, I have been the designated babysitter for my family and extended family basically my entire life. While I have a lifetime's experience of babysitting, I only have about 3 years paid experience. I helped my aunt with her newborn baby for about a month since her husband had to leave for a business trip. While it wasn't the most fun, it was a good learning experience. I also used to nanny for a seven year old girl when I lived in San Diego until I moved back to Houston right before the pandemic. I dropped Read more her off and picked her up from school, tutored and helped her with homework, and prepared her meals. While the parents didn't require this of me, the girl really loved art and so do I, so we frequently had creative art time. I also really love animals and am totally ok with any type of pet.
