Hello! My name is Megan and I am a recent dean's list Neuropsychology graduate of Penn State, currently living in Redondo Beach. I have 12 years of babysitting experience in both short and long-term care; I was the local sitter known around my area growing up. I worked full-time for a wonderful 3 month old boy, and have babysat children as young as 6 weeks, and my newborn nephew if that counts! :) I was also full-time for two summers for a family with a 3, 6, and 10 year old where I did carpool to and from camp, cooked, and drove to swimming lessons, etc. In terms of my educational background, I took two years of Child Development in high school where I was paired with a preschooler working one-on-one improving fine motor skills, reading and writing, and planning weekly class lessons. In college, I took senior-level child behavioral Read more and adolescent psychology courses where I learned things like how an adolescent brain learns and perceives the world, and how to influence growth in each of the adolescent stages. I also have a passion for children and adults who are neuro-diverse, starting a club in high school dedicated to forming friendships with those in our special education classes. Most importantly, I am FUN!, dependable, and trustworthy. I treat every child as I would want my nephew, and future kids to be treated while in the care of others.
