Hello! My name is Delana Nehib, I'm 20 years old a junior at the University of North Texas double majoring in English and Media Arts. I have three years of experience working with children as a camp counselor! I was a camp counselor at Camp Kiowa in Gainesville TX, as well as a lifeguard, where I worked with children from ages 6-17. I loved being a counselor, getting to teach a pool enrichment to campers, sneaking them into the kitchen for ice cream at night, and generally making great summer memories with them was the highlight of my summers. I even taught a Jr. Lifeguarding course to the campers! They thought it was a blast. Unfortunately due to COVID I had to switch from camp counselor to full time student, but I am excited and hopeful that we will be back to "normal" soon enough for more camps to open Read more back up. Until then, I've been focusing on school and working on campus as an Orientation Leader for the university this summer. It's given me fantastic leadership skills, and an opportunity to be extremely sociable. With summer coming to an end, I'll be available to transfer these skills to babysitting.
