Hello, I have babysat my whole life for friends/family. Also, I have worked for over 20 years with mentally and physically handicapped individuals. I became interested in doing that because my little sister was born with Microcephaly. I work as a billing specialist admin for my day job. My company of 18 years (ABM) provides custodians for several ISD's in this area. Because I do their billing, I am required to be fingerprinted with the FBI just in case I ever need to step foot on their campuses. I am a single mom of a beautiful 8-year-old girl. My last client of approximately 10 years moved away to Gulf Shores, AL. So, with no other clients in my area that would fit in my schedule I haven't taken on another. My certification in CPR/first aid has expired since then (6/12/21) but I can renew if it's an issue, but I Read more know how to give CPR to all ages, including infants. I have been vaccinated. My ideal situation would be to have a couple kids I may babysit for whenever in the evenings or on weekends. It could be a set schedule situation or as needed. I would love for it to be in my home if possible but would definitely come to yours as long as I won't be required to come into contact with any pets and if I could bring my well-behaved daughter with me. I've been a homeowner since 2009. I moved to the Camelot area of Garland in 2019 from the Northrich area of Richardson. I have no pets as I am severely allergic. I have a one-story home so there are no steps, I have a trampoline and the backyard is fenced in. I completely understand the trepidation you must have looking for a sitter online. I certainly would as well. Lucky for me, I have little life outside of my daughter. LOL I'm doing this because I find it easier to save money with a little side income. However, maybe this would work into a situation where I could someday ask you to babysit mine as well. I'm good with whatever is needed/required to make you feel comfortable with me keeping an eye on the most important person to you. Your child will be treated as I would my own with complete supervision. Please let me know any questions you may have about the care your loved one would receive.
