Hi my name is Nyawuta. I have a long background with kids that goes back almost 15 years and that’s with my siblings. I grew up with mostly one parent at home and as the oldest sibling of 6 it was often my responsibility to take care of my siblings. I learned how to change diapers, make bottles, and ultimately how to take care of an enfant even throughout the night. As my siblings would grow from enfants to toddlers then from toddlers to kids going to school I was always there. Taking care of my siblings helped me to realize just how much I love kids. I can’t even put into words how much children mean to me and how much I’ve learned about children’s psychological and emotional needs not only from the courses I’ve taken in college but also from my own childhood and of course my siblings. I’ve worked as a cna for 2 years and it’s taught me a lot about being more aware of people’s feelings or the things that people maybe going through as well as how to notice when people are going through things and the best way to support them. I am trustworthy, reliable, responsible, and resilient and to add, I am CPR trained and have been trained to do the Heimlich maneuver in case of any emergencies.
