Hi! I currently have a full time job in the oil & gas industry, but am looking for an occasional part-time opportunity to bring in some extra income. I am 26 years old and have a valid drivers license, so I don't mind playing chauffeur if need be. I have not babysat in several years, but I was a nanny to an elementary aged girl for nearly a year back in 2009. I was not working at the time, so I would pick her up from school, take her to piano, voice, or dance lessons (depending on the day), help her with homework, play games and such. On school holidays we would go see family movies at the theater, do arts & crafts (Hobby Lobby was a constant stop!) and play soccer. I was referred to that family by one of the mother's coworkers that I would occasionally sit for Read more at the time. Since then I have only watched friends' kids for the evening or overnight while they are out. I work out regularly so I can physically keep up with kids if they want to run around or play any sports, I've been extremely involved in dog rescue for nearly 10 years so I'm completely okay with being around animals and feeding/taking them out if need be. I would like to say I'm smart enough to always figure out their homework, but that would be a lie. If all else fails, my best friend is an elementary teacher! Also, to be noted since it is asked below - I AM a smoker, although I am smoke-free when on the clock.
