I am a gradate student at University of Houston, pursuing my Masters in social work. I will be graduating May 12, 2016. My undergraduate degree was a Bachelors in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. I currently intern at Depelchin Children's Center. I have much experience working with kids from infancy up to 18. My past job positions entail: -Verbal Academic Consultant: Taught students ACT and SAT prep skills for the english,reading, and writing portion of the exams -Aftercare worker: monitored a classroom of students, after school hours, ensured their safety, helped them with homework, and waited with them until their parents picked them up -Children's Activity Specialist: responsible for facilitating groups and activities for all the children in living in the shelter, processed feeling with them, picked them up from school, organized field trips,and provided childcare for them. -Camp Counselor: lead activities for children ages 3-15, assisted them Read more on field trips, and etc. -Childcare provider: watched over kids, and taught Sunday school lessons while their parents attended church service -Nanny: prepared lunch and breakfast and supervised children while there parents were working
