Hi, I'm Victoria! All my life I have been a caregiver, whether it was paid or not. Some of my unpaid expeiences include taking care of my 4 younger siblings while my parents were at work. I was helping them with homework, cooking lunch and dinner, bathing them, and assembling a night time routine. During that time, I also was the youth teacher in my church for 7 years, helping he kids sing gospel song and perform it before the congregation. Then, I got my first paid child care job as a day camp counselor for at the Family YMCA. My duites were reading educational books, assembing lunch, developing recreational plans, organizing camping trips, and guiding children and teenagers in outdoor activities such as swimming and hiking. I worked there for about 2 years and I loved it! After that, I got a job as a nanny/baby sitter for a Read more 1 year old baby girl, 7 year old boy, and 15 year old boy with autism. My duties were bathing/showering, bottle feeding, book reading, medication issuing, meal preparation, helping with homework, and transportation to doctor appointments, school, and extra curricular. Althogh it may seeem like a handful, I love all 3 children! I worked with them for 5 years. Unfortunately, the family moved out of state which led me to look at new babysittin/nappy opportunites. I love kids of all ages and backgrounds; they bring me so much joy and it feels great to help a family in need!
