I have always been a caring person and loving person since I can remember. I started watching kids in my church nursery since I was 10. Sounds really young, but I had older people in there with me as well. Since I was still a kid I had so much energy and people thought I was always mature for my age. After 3 years of nursery watch, people in my church started offering me to babysit their kids at home. I started off with 2 families and through the years their friends to friends after friends about me and I babysat for mostly doctor families. This is because the first family I babysat for was a doctor. So the Residency clinic had my watching all their kids. I had so much fun doing this. Ive babysat from new borns to a 17 year old with a disability. I've learned so Read more much babysitting. I've learned that kids speak so freely and are honest even if its too honest. Ive learned that I can learn so much from kids because this generation is progressing with technology. Ive learned my weaknesses and strengths and Ive most importantly learned the importance of family. I grew to love all these kids so much and have watched them grow. Ive become a part of their family and its such a rewarding feeling. Who would have thought that teaching a 3 year old how to skate would be such a heart warming feeling. Ive watched a newborn and now he is 7 years old. Makes me feel so old and this feeling that my acts of caring is something he will remember. Working with kids is wonderful, gives you a smile, and not to mention a workout. I can't wait to grow and learn more through my 10 years of experience.
