I love working with people, and though I have taken many different approaches, it has been the focus of my life's work. Working with, teaching, and spending time with children has always been the best part of my jobs. I grew up babysitting my little sister, children from church, school, and our neighborhood. As an adult, working as a Park Ranger, presenting Junior Ranger programs and working with younger generations, our future, has been the highlight of my entire career. I am Wilderness First Aid & CPR (adult/children/infant) certified, a Project Learning Tree Educator, I have extensive experience working with children and young adults, teaching people of all age groups and backgrounds, and have studied extensively different ways of hands on early childhood learning. I am a huge proponent of teaching and facilitating growth through hands on learning. I do also have a Sleep Safe Certificate for infants.
