I am 27 years old. I have worked with children for 13, almost 14, years of my life. I have worked with children of all different ages; ranging from newborn/infant to 18 years of age. I have experience working with multiple children at a time as well as children that come from traumatic backgrounds and ones with disabilities whether it be behavioral, developmental or physical. I have also done a little bit of elementary, middle and high school tutoring. I am currently in my Junior year at a University. My major is Sociology and I am debating double majoring in Psychology, with a minor in Criminal Justice. Either way, I offer a plethora of knowledge in Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services courses as well as Child Development courses too. I most recently worked as a Counselor at a Girls Shelter, working with teenagers/adolescents that have experienced abuse, neglect and Read more other traumatic experiences. Before that, I worked at a Private Preschool for 5 years as a teacher. I worked with Preschool, Pre-K, Kinder, and After-schooler ages. I am currently unemployed, due to COVID, but have been taking babysitting opportunities here and there.
