I am currently a practicing doula, and I have 3 years total of nanny and daycare teaching experience. I've worked with a class of 18 preschoolers, and a class of 13 young toddlers (11-15 months). As a private nanny at home, I worked with a family with 2 toddlers for about a year before I transitioned into daycare environment. As a daycare teacher, I have always been told it was so natural for me and I absolutely loved being with the kids everyday! I know it's challenging, but it was an honor to be a part of important milestones in a child's life. It truly is a special job and as a doula, it is so important for me to connect with families and still be that extra hand they need. Right now I do have a side work from home job, but I miss working with kids! I would Read more love to keep being able to help families as I work on my doula journey.
