Hello, I'm Shandora, but the kids like to call me Joonie or Sandy Cheeks, and I am glad you decided to stop by to see my profile. I'm currently within my last three semesters of college and it has been a blessing the entire way. I have been babysitting since I was about 11 years old on my own from tutoring to watching the kiddos. I have a fiance, who wouldn't mind helping out either. I got into babysitting because of how much joy kids bring to my life and gives me the opportunity to experience a bit of the inner kid that missed out on her own childhood. Being surrounded by kids makes me feel the happiness I have been missing and soon enough to expect to have my own little ones someday. I believe what sets me apart from others would be my methods of doing things regarding the child. (I do follow the rules) I know many kids don't like following the rules their parents might set, but usually, I have a way of getting the kids to listen by just being as patient as one can be while maintaining a calm soothing voice and thinking of ways to make things fun even when it is simple as cleaning up toys or the room after it gets messy. I have also tutored several kids throughout the 10 years of child care, resulting in a better understanding of the material and a bit of improvement.
