My name is Ixchel Perez, I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Applied Learning & Development: Youth and Community Studies with a concentration in Youth and Social Services. I also obtained a minor in Portuguese, making this my third language apart from Spanish and English. I chose my major because I want to be able to assess educational and professional needs of children and youth. After college, I worked as a math teacher in Austin, Tx for two years. I have recently moved to Houston this summer with the goal of taking a break from the classroom while making an individual impact as a Nanny.
