I currently work as a behavior therapist in an ABA center, which is therapy for kids with autism. I’m very comfortable with a wide range of ages and special needs kids. My Bachelors is in psychology and I’m working on my masters for marriage and family counseling. Babysitting will be supplemental income to save for grad school bc that ish is expensive, ya know? I use a lot of principles I learned in school and at my job to get kids to like me AND listen to me. I love using cuddles, tickles, pretend play, and especially any kind of creative crafting to connect with the kids. If the kids wanna just sit and watch movies or YouTube that’s fine, but I much prefer to engage with them. I’m willing to help with homework, meal prep and light housekeeping where the kids are concerned.
