Hi there! My name is Nerjes, and I recently graduated from college and have moved back home as I begin the next chapter of my life. I have over five years of hands-on childcare experience and truly love supporting children as they grow and learn. Throughout college, I worked consistently at a local daycare, where I gained extensive experience with infants and toddlers. From feeding and diapering to circle time, sensory play, and early learning activities, I became confident in nurturing young children in safe, engaging, and developmentally supportive ways. Most recently, I nannied for a family with two children: a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old with special needs. This experience strengthened my ability to balance different developmental stages, adapt to individual needs, and provide patient, attentive care. It deepened my understanding of how important consistency, clear communication, and creativity are in helping each child feel supported and understood. I currently Read more work as an Early Childhood Teaching Assistant at a private school in South Houston. In this role, I assist with classroom instruction, support daily routines, help manage behavior in positive ways, and encourage students socially and emotionally. Working in a structured school setting has expanded my knowledge of early childhood development and reinforced my commitment to creating inclusive, nurturing environments. In addition to my professional roles, I’ve completed summer internships focused on educational and community programming for children and teens, and I’ve babysat younger siblings and relatives for many years. These experiences have shaped my patience, adaptability, and genuine love for caregiving. I truly enjoy being a sitter because every day brings something new, whether it’s crafting, dancing, reading stories, outdoor play, or simply being a calm and reliable presence. My goal is always to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel heard, valued, and excited to learn. I am First Aid and CPR certified, have my own reliable car, and can provide references upon request. I’d love to connect if you’re looking for someone dependable, experienced, and kind to care for your little ones!

Nerjes has been coming 5 days week consistently for the whole fall semester to get my 2 yr old daughter and 6 yr old special needs son up in the morning, fed, dressed, ready for school, drove them each to their respective schools. She has always been so caring, respectful, understanding, flexible and communicative. We are sad to see her go, we would keep her forever if we could, but happy to see that she wants to pursue more in her career.
