Hi! My name is Sofia 😊 I’m a college student at the University of Houston, and I work as a daycare teacher. Most of my experience is with babies and toddlers (mainly under 3), so I’m very comfortable with the full routine — feeding, diaper changes, nap time, keeping them safe, and also helping them learn through play. What I love most about working with little ones is watching them grow. I enjoy helping with development and learning skills in ways that feel fun for them — like sensory activities, language building, motor skills, and helping them learn how to be gentle, patient, and confident. I also substitute teach sometimes, so I’ve worked with different ages too, and it’s honestly helped me become really flexible and calm in any environment. I have a lot of experience with special needs as well, so I’m very patient and I always try to Read more understand each child individually instead of expecting them all to act the same. Even though I’m young, I take childcare very seriously. I really value children, and I believe they’re the next generation — they’re the ones who will one day lead, love others, and take care of people. That’s why I think it’s important to pour good things into them early, like compassion, kindness, and respect. I’ve even learned a little bit of ASL because I taught students who were deaf, and I wanted them to feel included and understood. I’m always willing to go the extra mile for kids. Also, I believe in Jesus Christ, and I try to live with love, patience, and strong values — especially when I’m caring for someone’s child. I would truly love to be a sitter for your family and provide care you can feel safe and comfortable with.
