Hi! My name is Angel Thompson, I am a 20 year old nursing major at Sam Houston. I am currently a cheerleader for Sam Houston and a summer time counselor for UCA with first aid certification and CPR certified. I have 9 siblings and 16 nieces and nephews, so most of my time spent at home, I am babysitting. Watching them grow up is a true blessing, and the memories made while babysitting, is always unforgettable. Between all of the kids shows, laughs, hugs and even tantrums; children are always honest, affectionate, funny, it truly helps me get out of my head for a while. I have been with UCA in the summers for 3 years now, it is the best part of the year, and I wouldn't want to spend my summers anywhere else! Also I am a part time worker at Kids R Kids, typically I am with Read more eleven 2 year olds at a time, and floating around with the ages 1-8/9. When you get that hug or hello or even a thank you when you're helping them out with something, it is all that matters, nothing compares to a 5 year saying that you are "cool", or they "can't wait to see you again", I cherish those moments and there is absolutely no higher honor!
