From a young age, I have enjoyed being responsible for children. In middle school, I always volunteered to help lead groups or activities at Vacation Bible School with my church, and through Girl Scouts, had regular opportunities to organize and lead events for younger girls. In high school, I started babysitting more for local families and my focus shifted more towards teaching. I developed and taught an art class for K-3 students at a homeschool co-op I was attending, and taught craft projects to both other team members and Honduran children during two mission trips. I started babysitting regularly over the summers since starting at Auburn, with families of 1-3 kids, ranging in age from 1-13. I am currently available in the afternoons and over weekends.
