Hello there! I'm a mother of 3 children, ages 15, 14, 11. I've stayed home with them since they were born, homeschooling them as well. I've babysat for my family and friends, babies and school age children, for the past 20 years. I've been working part-time at a daycare/school for 2 years now, but due to Covid-19, the center has closed for in person care. I now stay at home while my own kids do their online school. Kids have described me as funny. Adults have said I am good with children. As a child, my mother dropped me off at the babysitter's house before she went to work. I am familiar with all child safety techniques, and I have been driving in the state of Texas for 25 years without any traffic violations or accidents. I take a child-centered approach and am educated on children's healthcare needs and diet. I know how to have fun with and talk to kids both in happy and sad times. I am CPR/First Aid certified and have passed a background check for child care centers. I've taken staff development classes including topics in emergency management, allergies, and recognition of child abuse and neglect.
