I am a Texas certified teacher that has had 5 years of experience in the classroom where I have taught 3rd grade math, science, and social studies, 4th grade reading and social studies, and 5th grade social studies. Since moving to Hutto from Houston, I have taken a year off from teaching and had the opportunity to work with children with autism as a registered behavior technician and as a long term substitute for a behavior classroom in Hutto ISD where I have developed skills of implementing ABA therapy strategies and positive behavior analysis for students that are in need of extra behavior supports in the public school system. Prior to my experience as a teacher, throughout college, I was a babysitter for 3 different families that had children of ages ranging from 3 years old to 12 years old. I am equipped to help tutor your child in all Read more subjects, help with social skills, and overall be an individual that they feel safe and comfortable with. I love to build relationships with children in a fun, loving way and to also equip them with skills they can carry over into the classroom when they start school; whether that be academically or socially.
