I may be young but I feel that it helps relate to kids better, as I'm young at heart as well. I love working with children of all ages and have always been around them. I'm a middle child so I've had my equal share of responsibility and independence, gaining plenty of patience and compassion along the way. My fuse is very, very long, and I'm great at keeping calm in hectic situations. I could probably be a 911 operator. I was a constant babysitter for my older sister when she had her baby, and he's five now. I took a Practicum in Childcare class in high school for two years, which was making lesson plans for and taking care of the teacher's children. Their ages ranged from 2-5. We were a small class watching over nearly 20 children and it was like we were real teachers. I made a Read more lot of good memories there that led me to want to have a permanent job with kids. I've had summer babysitting jobs, like this past one where I took care of two girls 6 and 8 for the day while their parents were at work. I have many online childcare certifications called CCEI's and I'm also OSHA certified. I'm studying to be a nutritionist so I'm very knowledgeable in that area.
