I am the mom of two grown sons and have two wonderful grandchildren, a boy who is 4 years old and a girl, 2 years old. I was very blessed that I could be a stay-at-home mom, and was very involved in volunteering at my children's schools. One of my most favorite things to do with children is read to them. Reading books aloud is so very important for our children, even when they get older. In fact, I don't think anyone is too old to be read to! I was a certified teacher prior to marriage and raising a family. I was a substitute teacher for the Katy ISD from 2012-2016, so I have been through their employment process which includes a full background check. For fun, I enjoy reading, trying new recipes, crochet and gardening. When I was growing up I helped care of our family dog and Read more have cared for and loved countless dogs and cats, a few lizards, fish and various rodents over the years. Right now my husband and I have a dog and three cats. So, that being said, I love pets and have no problem helping care for them, too. If the occasion arises, I can be available at times outside of the scheduled times I have listed.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
