Hi, my name is Lori. I have a 4-year-old and I am a stay-at-home mom. I would like to offer my services as a nanny/homeschool teacher for one or two children between 3 and 5 years old. I have been working with kids for over 15 years in different capacities: nanny, educator, etc. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education and have pursued graduate studies in psychology. Since my son was born, I focused more on investing in him by educating him at home. My passion is to see him and other children succeed while challenging them to think outside of the box. I have my own curriculum that integrates Montessori and traditional educational practices. With regard to the schedule, in the morning we start with a Bible story and then we pursue academic activities and projects in the fields of math, reading, science, and social studies. Then we have Read more lunch followed by free time (i.e., playing outside and/or at the park, going to the public library, etc.). I can provide additional details if you are interested, including the schedule for the week and all the materials that I use. Also, I am open to stay with kids in the morning only for academics, all day, or just for few hours if you have an emergency and you need to drop your kid to our house for few hours and run some errands.
