Hello! I am a retired professor who just moved to Kemah and would love to help a young family who needs a part-time sitter. I have always felt deeply about protecting and taking care of little ones and began babysitting at a young age. I would rather take care of children than do anything else. They are the very best thing on the planet and are so much fun! Children are hilarious, sweet and honest and I do everything I can to make them happy, without spoiling them too much. Spoiling has gotten a little out of control these days, and if you don't feel that way, we probably won't mesh. If you want your children to be happy, well-balanced and functional adults one day, spoiling is going to destroy that possibility. My ability to communicate well on any age level, also puts the parents at ease, because I like to give details about our day and send text messages or short videos to let them know how things are going at home. I am a happy, easy-going person who greatly enjoys playing with children. I don't just "watch" them; I fully engage with them to ensure they are happy and comfortable the entire time. I am also available as a tutor for children. I'm happy to say I've been able to turn a lot of children around who weren't enjoying learning at school. Seeing them smile with relief when it clicks for them is so rewarding. I am certified in infant and adult CPR and have learned a lot of first aid having also worked in a hospital for three years.
