I met Kasey one time and she is a super sweet girl, and seems to be very smart. She seems like she would make a good sitter; and probably is. I haven’t spoken with her in a while, and I texted her tonight asking if she is available for a couple hours on Saturday. This is how she replies ....” I think you need to find someone else. I am no longer interested in working for you. Sorry and have a blessed day .” So my first thought is there is a variety of appropriate replies and this is not one. How about “I am no longer available at this time”. Or maybe even “I now have plenty of work keeping me busy”. But not “I am no longer interested”. Take away from this is Kasey needs to think of the way she is wording something before she responds.
