I'm a mother of two college age young men. I've been happily married for nearly 25 years and am a Christian. I studied Early Childhood Ed and started teaching in 1997 at a Montessori school working in the Kindergarten class. Several years later, I accepted a position teaching Physical Education at a small, private school to Pre-K through 6th grade. I stopped working during my boys junior high and high school years to be home with them and be involved with their school activities and volunteering. In 2010, I worked for a nonprofit teaching in an afterschool program to underprivileged youth ages 2nd-5th grade. Starting in 2011, I went to work for my current family as a nanny. I still am presently employed by them on an extremely part-time basis. My duties include just about all aspects of care for the children. ie: meal prep, school pick up, teaching, keeping Read more them on schedule... I have experience with every age group from infancy to young adult. I have CPR and First Aid, course work in Health and Nutrition, and volunteer experience working at Cook Children's. I also have many years experience working with Down Syndrome and slightly less working with autism. I am not looking for a new job or a lot of hours. I occasionally have openings for a date night, could possibly commit to a small, weekly part-time position if it were the right hours, fit, etc.
