I am currently available for full-time/part-time/random occasional care/ whatever you need! I am CPR, AED first aid certified. I love working with kids of all ages. My previous experience includes a full-time position caring for a little girl and boy, ages 8 and 10. I also worked for a family with an 18-month-old boy, 6-year-old boy, and 7-year-old girl. My most recent nannying job was with a 3 year old girl in Austin, TX. I have watched a weekly group of 5 kids, ages 2, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I also have experience watching twin 2-year-old and 3-year-old girls together. I have done volunteer work as a summer camp counselor for children with disabilities. In college, I was a "lunch buddy" at the local elementary school. I have taken a great amount of coursework in Psychology, including Early Childhood Psychology and Developmental Psychology, with many preschool interaction hours. I Read more am also very knowledgeable on working with kids with ADD/ADHD. I have extensive experience caring for my younger brothers and sister. I am the second eldest in a close-knit Christian family of 5 kids, with ages ranging from my 11 year-old sister to my 28 year-old brother. A little bit more about me: I love music. I sing and play the piano, (can teach your kids!) I have a blue belt in Tae Kwon Do from when I was younger. I did Irish Dancing for almost 10 years, and was on the dance team in college. I love to create, and really enjoy doing arts and crafts-type things. I think outside the box. I can read, write, and communicate in Spanish if I need to. I am very patient, and understanding. I am very big on encouraging kids to read, and helping them learn and grow. I began teaching my little sister how to spell and read around the age of 2. One of my proudest achievements was running a half-marathon with my youngest brother. If you are looking for someone you can trust to take excellent care of your kids, I'm your girl!
