My name is Elisa Rios and I'm currently a pre-nursing student looking for a part time special needs babysitting/care companion position. My younger sister has Schizencephaly and Cerebral Palsy, and so I grew up assisting with her daily care and assisting during her PT/OT and ST sessions. So in a way, I've been a care companion my whole life! Throughout the summer of 2014 I also volunteered at a summer sports camps hosted by NSCD. The camps were designed specifically for children and adults with various disabilities such as Autism, Downs Syndrome, CP. I am currently BLS certified through the American Heart Association.
