I love children. I love watching them explore the world and seeing them grow as people, not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually and personally. I have been successful in my career, but honestly my greatest accomplishment, and what I am most proud of, is my adult children. I raised 2 boys (mostly by myself) who are now amazing, healthy, happy, successful young adult men with bright futures. I don't have grandchildren (yet) but I'm certainly looking forward to that experience. At this point in my life, I do not "have" to work, so I decided to do something that I truly enjoy. I feel that my God-given gift and my true passion is being a nurturer and caregiver. In addition to raising my own children, and before I moved to Leander, I taught children's Sunday School and Bible School classes. I also babysat my 3 year old grand-niece while her Read more mom attended nursing school. I thoroughly enjoyed it and if I had not moved, would most likely still be babysitting her. Children are our future and deserve the best care they can possibly receive. When Mom and/or Dad can't be there, they need someone who truly cares about them and their well-being. I can be that person!
